Acoustic Guitar Crash Course

Lesson 1

Welcome to your first guitar acoustic guitar lesson! Awesome that you join here!!!

It’s my aim that you achieve in the next days, months or even years at your guitar whatever you want. No matter if you want to play a special song, grip chords very easily, play a lot of beautiful melodies at the guitar or pick your instrument spontaneously at a campfire and make some music.

I am very certain that you’ll achieve all your goals. And I give everything to support you.

My promise: I’m always at your side. If you’ve a question, just send me an email. Even if you only want to let me know about your progress.

I enjoy it so much to hear from you guys! (Just answer to one of my emails)

Stay tuned!!!! Even if you struggle sometimes, don’t give up! When you went through a phase like this, you’ll get out much stronger and new worlds at the guitar will open up for you. It’s really worth it!

Click on this button to download my free e-book - it’s your good companion, especially at the beginning!

The lessons of the crash course are send at an interval of 1-2 days.

Please feel free to leave me a comment on this page or below a video.

Best regards

Hello! Thank you so much for your lesson, it really helped me. I’ve a question to ask you about that I’m left handed person, so how do I play guitar? Normally guitars are for right handed ones, so eventually when left handed person tries to play the strings goes wrong… Please guide me!

    Hi
great that you join here 🙂
There are different options for you.
You can pick a guitar for left handed people. I think most people chose this option.
But I also know some left handed guitarist who just play with a normal guitar and held it like right handed people.
You can also take a normal guitar and held it differently.

Try out what is best for you.

    Have fun

I put this song on the wish list. Because of the huge amount of music requests I cannot promise that I can fulfill all of them, but I try.

Hello Hannes
I am a 66 year old retired steelworker with a little more time on my hands and the desire to learn how to play the guitar.
I have been attempting to self teach myself this beautiful instrument, learning open chords and some notes on the left end of the fretboard as of now, I do realize that the 7 musical notes and 5 sharps and flats continue on the entire fretboard, on all 6 strings but I don’t know them yet, I also don’t have much experience. skill or talent yet including fretting. picking and strumming. You showed us the proper way to form an A minor Chord and how to pick the chord and also strum it cleanly and also strum it in 4\4 time. I enjoyed the lesson and I will continue to practice this and add the next lesson info into my knowledge.
Thank You for teaching us to improve our skills.
Cam

I got lesson one but I have an electric guitar I’m going borrow one from my brother in 2 days so I’m already behind

Reply
    Hannes says 3. April 2024

    Hi Amy
no worries and no hurry. You can do the lessons with every guitar.
But great that you can borrow an electric guitar from your brother but you can also do the videos and lessons with your acoustic guitar.
The links to the lessons are valid for a longer time so that you can practice in your own speed.

    Have fun playing guitar
